This is an Elliott-Fisher book typewriter made for typing on books and for doing bookkeeping and accounting ledger postings. This was a wonderful and state-of-art accounting machine.
This machine has some surface tarnish and paint loss and it may be missing some parts. We are estimating its condition rating at 4,4. It is a machine for restoration or for parts. It is the earlier version and before the 1925 merger of Elliott Fisher with Underwood and we are estimating it's circa date at around 1903.
This machine is large and heavy and probably better for a pick up or delivery rather than packing and shipping. It is approximately 23 inches long, 14 inches deep and 8 inches high. It weighs approximately 32 pounds. We are in Rutland, Vermont and will be in Leesburg, Florida in October with short windows for meeting someplace along the line.
