Fox No 3 Understrike

From Wally's magnificent collection comes this early Fox No 3 understrike typewriter, circa: 1902. We could not locate the serial number but there is a patent plate with 1902 being the last date listed.

The graphics are generally clear and easy to read but there is some wear and some small paint losses. The machine is dirty with dust and dirt build up. While all the key tabs are present and working several have their white numbers worn off. The machine appears to be complete and intact and without any cracks, breaks or repairs in the frame but the carriage is not advancing when keys or the space bar are struck. We are estimating the condition rating on this machine at 2-,3.
