Little Shaver Pencil Pointer, circa 1904
This little cast iron pencil shaver is called the Little Shaver. One simply shaves the pencil much like a carpenter might use a spoke shave or a draw knife. The bottom still has its original paper label with detailed instructions. It was patented on March 24, 1904 and manufactured by E.L. McDivitt of Belvidere, Illinois. This little guy is in good working order and all writing is visible and easily read. We estimate its condition rating at 2,2.
