Adirondack Pack Saddle

more pictures

This is probably a trapper's made Adirondack pack saddle, but it might have been Indian made. It was found deep in the Adirondack Mountains and is covered with hide. We think it is probably deer hide and there still is some fur exposed on the underside. This pack saddle measures approximately 18 inches high, 23 inches wide and 17 inches deep. It represents a great piece of Adirondack history that would look super in a cabin, den or library.
