Folk Art is that art which is performed by an untrained or self trained artisan or practitioner, generally a non-professional. Back in the 19th century and earlier, most things were hand made and may be included in the folk art catagory.
Popular catagories of folk art include paintings and other art work, tramp art, prison art, POW art, trench art and ammo art. There are many, many others. Following are the catagories we are currently offering:

This is a oil on board by Tim Bushy, a Middlebury, Vermont artist. It is approximately 20 inches wide by 24 inches high.

While we tend to focus in vintage and antique, when we saw this beautifully carved duck from a piece of drift wood we were so impressed that we had to have it in our collection. It was carved in 2010 by Maine wood carver B. Freed and we purchased it from him. It is absolutely amazing how the carver imagined that duck from that piece of driftwood. The whole piece is approximately 15 inches long.
