Vintage Fishing Creels

Fishing creels are always a necessity for stream and river fisherman. After all, where are you going to keep all those fish you catch? Our creels are made of wicker, wood, canvus and leather, or vinyl for later ones. Most are from the New York Adirondack area and date to 1910 -1950 eras.

1899 Canvas Planet Fishing Creel

This canvas creel was designed to be folded but due to its age we haven't attempted to fold it. We cannot fully read the patent number (its too faded) but we had an almost identical Planet folding canvas minnow bucket and its' patent number indicated 1899.

This fishing creel is in remarkable condition for its age. It has no tears or other blemishes that we could find. The lid locking pins on each side are fully in tact and are working as intended.

It is approximately 11 inches wide, 6 inches high and 6 inches deep.
